Spring is in the air

In Battery Point the dark days of winter are gone for another year.

The early bulbs are up, the crab apple tree is pink with blossom, bees are busy in the rosemary hedge and the purple ‘bee tree’ nods over the fence. There may be the odd sprinkling of snow on kunanyi - Mount Wellington; but the sun shines from a clear blue sky, fresh breezes blow off the river and the air is as clear and bright as a crystal glass.
